Each member of our medical team undergoes countless hours of aero medical and flight physiology training. All of our healthcare professionals must possess the following qualifications:

• Mercy Jets employs medical professionals and air ambulance flight crews with intense medical training appropriate for medical flights.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)

Before each flight, our medical team will evaluate each patient's medical report combining health records, conversations with medical professionals on direct care of you or your loved one, current labs, and family concerns. A specialized team is then assembled to provide the highest level of care structured to meet your needs.

Once in flight, our medical team will have the support of our entire medical staff, including qualified physicians who may monitor you and your flight's progress from ensuring Complete Continuity of Care while traveling.

Flight Crew

We take the flight crew's training as seriously as our medical crew's. All pilots are rated as captains, and are qualified to fly the jets that will take you or your loved one from Point A to Point B.

All flight crew members exceed FAA requirements for aircraft operations. They must possess Airline Transport Pilot Certificates before they fly any aircraft utilized by Mercy Jets. All pilots must attend and pass simulator recurrent flight training and regular medical exams to ensure that they maintain the highest standards of safety on the ground and in the air.
